On May 27th, the "ZAT24000H All-Terrain Crane Key Technologies and Product Applications" scientific achievement appraisal meeting organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. At the meeting, the appraisal committee composed of 9 authoritative experts in the industry, including Academician Tan Jianrong, unanimously agreed that the development technology of the ZAT24000H all-terrain crane was difficult and highly innovative, and the overall technical and product indicators have reached the international leading level. In particular, groundbreaking progress has been made in the design and manufacturing control of large lifting height and arm weight, chassis heavy-load driving, and other key technologies related to the design and manufacture of all-terrain cranes. The 2400-ton all-terrain crane combines high integration design with a complex combination of double "175" arm lengths and lifting weights, providing a high-precision and stable safe operation.It is reported that the ZAT24000H all-terrain crane is a construction masterpiece created by Zoomlion for the development of new energy, breaking the global record for the largest tonnage all-terrain crane. This product has a maximum rated lifting capacity of 2400 tons and a maximum lifting height of 175 meters with a load of 175 tons, equivalent to lifting 117 small cars to a height of 60 floors at once. It is the world's first all-terrain crane to break through the 2400-ton level.
Since its launch in June 2022, the ZAT24000H all-terrain crane has been successfully utilized in numerous large-scale wind power projects, including the concentrated batch mixing tower wind farm in Heihe Zhao Guang, which has the highest single-machine power generation capacity of 140 meters in China, as well as the Xiwu wind power project in Hepu, Guangxi with a height of 160 meters, the Jilongliang wind power project in Kunming, Yunnan, and the Shilishan wind power project in Guyuan, Zhangjiakou. The crane has been widely praised for its powerful performance, high construction efficiency, convenient transportation, and significant construction benefits.
