With a solid performance in Germany, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, Sunward now plans to expand the business in France, Italy and Great Britain. In France, its dealer Mandamat in Lyon has been doing an excellent job of promoting Sunward’s equipment for a year and a half, which makes Arnaud Berthier, CEO of Sunward Europe happy to say :“We found a perfect match to become the backbone of our dealer network.”

“ When I joined Sunward in China, I was convinced by the relevance of their business model, with guaranteed manufacturing and assembly quality. In particular on the use of premium components and an incomparable value for money. ” said Arnaud Berthier, CEO of Sunward Europe

Sunward has built its European headquarters in Belgium for 5 years. The site manages a large stock of spare parts and assembles the compact and medium tonnage excavators (15 t and 21 t). It is also used as a training and maintenance support center for its dealer network in Europe.

In the short term, the marketing of drilling rigs is planned, and the wheel excavators and loaders will be available soon. “ We have already planned to be on Intermat in 2021 and on more regional exhibitions to make ourselves better known. We do not necessarily realize the scale of a Chinese company like Sunward which employs 5,000 people and which achieves a turnover of $ 1 billion ”, Arnaud added.
It goes without saying that Sunward has ambitions for the European market with the desire to provide a full portfolio of construction equipment. “ For the moment, 6 dealers are in place in France. In two years, I expect that they will be around thirty. We are counting on this value for money from our excavators to take credible positions on the market, ”said Arnaud Berthier. To date, the brand has around 40 dealers in the European market with the aim of increasing significantly in the next 3 years.
